Hi. I’m Michelle. Nice to meet you.

I like to bake, sew, knit, garden, and generally make things with my hands. A few good friends taught me how to knit and my grandmother taught me how to sew. I learned how to garden through trial and error.

I also like to read and frequently check craft and food books out of the library. I also happen to be a librarian, but that’s not important here. Just know that I love libraries a lot. Do you have a library card? You should.

This blog is a chronicle of my handmade life. I generally like to make it instead of buying it. I also like to do it myself. Sometimes my husband or cat tries to help. Sometimes I let them.
